About Avatr
Avatr is a premium electric-vehicle marque established in 2018 as a joint venture led by Changan Automobile in Chongqing, China, with strategic partners Huawei (technology) and CATL (batteries). Its debut Avatr 11 midsize SUV and Avatr 12 fastback sedan showcase Huawei’s HarmonyOS cockpit and CATL’s high-energy cells on a modular skateboard chassis. Positioned above Changan’s mainstream brands, Avatr blends cutting-edge smart features—such as lidar-enhanced driver assistance—with luxury-market ambitions.
