About Denza
Denza is a joint venture between BYD and Daimler AG, established in 2010 to develop premium electric vehicles. The Denza EV (2014) integrated BYD’s lithium iron phosphate battery tech with Mercedes-Benz safety engineering. The D9 MPV, launched in 2022, offers a 95 kWh battery pack, 600 km CLTC range, and luxury features like individual captain seats and advanced driver-assistance systems. Denza sold over 20,000 units in China by 2023, targeting affluent buyers with bespoke customization and service packages.
