About Fisker

Fisker Inc. was founded in October 2016 by designer Henrik Fisker and Dr. Geeta Gupta-Fisker following the bankruptcy of Fisker Automotive. The company launched its first production model—the Ocean electric SUV—in late 2022 through contract manufacturing with Magna Steyr in Graz, Austria. Built on a modular “Flexee” platform, the Ocean offers up to 350 miles range and features recycled interior materials and a solar roof option. Fisker’s product pipeline includes the sub-30K Pear compact EV, the Alaska pickup and the high-performance Ronin GT. Despite early production and software challenges, Fisker aims to scale volume through partnerships and agile manufacturing, targeting profitability by 2026.
