About Forthing

Forthing—also known as Dongfeng Fengxing—was introduced in 2001 by Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor to expand the group’s presence in family and commercial vehicles. Early success came with the CM7 and Lingzhi MPVs, noted for their spacious cabins and flexible seating, followed by crossover models like the T5 and upcoming T7. Sold under the Forthing banner in China and select overseas markets, the brand emphasizes value and practicality, offering features such as large infotainment screens and multiple powertrain options. In recent years, Forthing has ventured into electric mobility with the SX6 EV and strengthened its dealer network across Southeast Asia. Its steady growth reflects rising demand for affordable, multi-purpose vehicles in emerging regions.
