About GAC
GAC Motor was established in 2008 as the vehicle-manufacturing arm of Guangzhou Automobile Group (GAC), China’s state-backed automaker with roots going back to 1954. GAC Motor’s lineup features the Trumpchi GA4 and GS8 SUVs, the Aion series of electric sedans and crossovers, and commercial vans under the M and E series. It has grown to become one of China’s leading electric-vehicle producers while also building joint-venture models with Toyota, Honda and Mitsubishi. GAC Motor exports to Asia, the Middle East and Latin America, and is developing local assembly in key markets. With a focus on quality, smart connectivity and green powertrains, GAC aims to broaden its international footprint.
