About Genesis
Genesis Motor was introduced in November 2015 by Hyundai Motor Company as its standalone luxury brand, spinning off premium models previously sold under Hyundai. The inaugural model, the G90 full-size sedan, launched in late 2016, followed by the G80 midsize executive sedan and the G70 sports sedan. Genesis now offers SUVs including the GV80 and compact GV70, as well as the Electrified G80 EV. In 2024, the brand achieved 330,000 sales worldwide, becoming one of the fastest-growing luxury marques. Genesis is recognized for its “Athletic Elegance” design language, advanced safety features under Genesis Active Safety Technology, and a four-year unlimited-mileage warranty for peace of mind.
