Chery launched Jetour on 22 January 2018 as its family-oriented SUV marque, aiming to capitalize on China’s booming crossover market. The lineup debuted with the X70 mid-size SUV and has since expanded with the X90 full-size model, the Dashing or Dasheng series and the rugged X-Trail-inspired off-roader. By January 2024, Jetour recorded its millionth vehicle, underscoring rapid growth. Its iPeL modular platform supports internal-combustion, plug-in-hybrid and pure-electric powertrains, allowing the brand to adapt quickly to market trends. With annual capacity of 1 million units at its Changzhou factory, Jetour plans to enter Latin American and Middle Eastern markets by 2026.
