About Luxeed
Luxeed is a premium electric-vehicle brand launched in November 2023 by Chery Automobile in partnership with Huawei’s Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance. Its first model, the S7 fastback sedan, debuted in China with a blend of sleek styling and an infotainment system powered by HarmonyOS. In mid-2024, Luxeed added the R7 mid-size coupe-SUV to its lineup, offering both fully electric and range-extended powertrain options on a bespoke EV platform. After overcoming early production bottlenecks, the brand became a wholly owned subsidiary of Chery in January 2025, underscoring its growing importance. Sold primarily in China, Luxeed caters to tech-savvy buyers seeking high-voltage fast charging, advanced driver-assist functions, and a refined cabin. Future plans include select overseas launches and additional models under the Luxeed nameplate.
