McLaren Automotive was founded in 1985 by Ron Dennis as a spin-off of Bruce McLaren’s 1963 racing team, itself established to compete in Formula 1. The McLaren F1 supercar, launched in 1992, featured a central driving position, BMW M V12 engine, and carbon fiber monocoque chassis, achieving a top speed of 386 km/h, a record for decades. Today, McLaren’s lineup includes the Super Series (720S, 765LT), the Ultimate Series (Senna, Speedtail), and the Artura hybrid, which combines a twin-turbo V6 with an electric motor for 680 hp. In 2023, McLaren Automotive delivered over 4,000 cars globally, serving collectors across Europe, North America, and the Middle East. McLaren’s MonoCell carbon tub construction is derived directly from its Formula 1 technology, ensuring exceptional strength and lightness.
