Rimac Automobili was founded in 2009 by innovator Mate Rimac in Sveta Nedelja, Croatia. Beginning as a low-volume specialty shop, it gained global attention with the Concept_One electric hypercar unveiled in 2011, then set new performance benchmarks with the flagship Nevera, a four-motor EV capable of record acceleration. Rimac’s proprietary battery systems, electric drivetrains, and vehicle-control software have attracted partnerships and led to the 2021 formation of Bugatti Rimac alongside Porsche and Mate Rimac himself. Beyond its own vehicles, Rimac supplies high-performance components to leading automakers and is constructing a new campus near Zagreb to scale production. The company continues to push EV technology toward ever greater power, efficiency, and exclusivity.
