Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Limited was founded in 1904 by Charles Rolls and Henry Royce in Manchester, England, formalizing a partnership formed in 1904. The Silver Ghost (1907) earned acclaim for smoothness, dubbed “the best car in the world.” The company introduced the Phantom series (1925) and Wraith touring models, focusing on bespoke craftsmanship. Acquired by BMW Group in 1998, Rolls-Royce launched the Ghost (2009), Wraith (2013), Dawn convertible (2015), and Cullinan SUV (2018). In 2023, Rolls-Royce delivered over 6,400 vehicles, each hand-built at Goodwood, where customers can personalize virtually every detail. The brand’s Spirit of Ecstasy mascot and Bespoke program continue to define ultra-luxury standards.
