About Skywell
Skywell Auto was founded in 2019 in Nanjing by the Skywell Group and Skyworth Corporation to develop electric passenger vehicles and buses. Its initial focus was on large-format electric buses before expanding into consumer EVs under the Skywell and Skyworth brands. Notable models include the U5 micro-EV and the ET5 midsize sedan, both built on modular electric platforms. Skywell operates production bases in Jiangsu province and supplies fleets, ride-hailing services and individual buyers across China. While still growing its market share amid fierce competition, Skywell leverages its bus-manufacturing heritage to offer robust batteries and fast-charging solutions. The company continues exploring overseas partnerships and smart-vehicle technologies to differentiate its offerings.
