About Dacia

Dacia, founded in 1966 in Mioveni, Romania, began by manufacturing Renault-licensed models such as the Dacia 1100 (based on the Renault 8). After privatization and full integration into Renault Group in 1999, Dacia redefined budget motoring with the Logan sedan (2004), Duster SUV (2010), and the Spring EV (2021), Europe’s most affordable electric car. In 2023, Dacia sold over 550,000 vehicles, excelling in emerging markets with models like the Jogger and Sandero, known for utilitarian design and low total cost of ownership.
