Stelato debuted in 2024 as a premium electric-vehicle brand co-created by BAIC’s BluePark EV division and Huawei’s Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance. Its first model, the Stelato S9, is a full-size luxury sedan featuring Huawei’s ADS 3.0 advanced driver-assist system, a high-voltage (800 V) battery pack, and a range-extender option that doubles driving distance on a single charge. Positioned above BAIC’s Arcfox lineup, Stelato combines cutting-edge smart cockpit technology with hand-finished interior touches, aiming to attract discerning EV buyers. After an initial pre-sale launch in China, the brand plans limited overseas expansion beginning in late 2025. Stelato’s focus on rapid software updates and modular hardware reflects Huawei’s software-first strategy in the automotive sector.
